KL ---> Taman Negara!

Mjello maites!

This morning I decided that I want to leave KL... It's a busy city with lots of possibilities, but it's also very stressful.

In KL I went to Menara (Sky tower) which is the 4th highest tower in the world. It's placed on a hill and from there you can look down on Petronas towers (the twin towers made of steel). It was amazing... totally high tech... When I got up the elevator I was met by a beutiful malay woman that gave me some headphones on and a little tv-screen... when i moved around the tower I could hear details about the view :D
The sunset from the tower is supposed to be really beautiful, but I was cloudy :( No matter, beautiful anyways!

I also went to a park near Chinatown where there was a guy feeding the monkeys... there must have been 30 or something... amazing... the were crawling all around me and I got to feed them some of my lunch. I went to a bench with a roof over it and read in my book... fell asleep... read some more... fell asleep.. read some more and so on :D "Crime and Punishment" is a very exiting book, but sometimes it's exhausting for me to read.
When I went back it started to rain... not just rain like in DK ... it started to MOTHERF***ING RAIN! ... soo... what did clever Soeren do... I just walked home... heh... I thought that you can't get any more wet than wet... but I forgot all about the travel documents and the things I got in my bag. Sooo... now my "Lonely planet" is almost ruined... I can still use it, but its falling apart.

In KL I slept at "Lee Mun Guest House", it was exactly like the hostel Leonardo Dicaprio stayed in in the movie "The Beach"... exactly... there were magazine clips everywhere on the walls and a very strange hostel-man... The people there were also weird... there was a 30 year old woman thin as an anorectic and with 3-4 tarantulas tattoed different places on her body... there was a 35 year old man that looked like he had been in that hostel since the sixties and alot of chinese and malay people. The guest house was nice and clean, and there was free tea and DVD-movies in the evening. Gareth (the NZ guy I travelled with for 4 days) left for Singapore, he had some work to do there. He went to the Formula 1 both of the days, but you know me... I don't give a s*** for watching sports... and especially not motorsports... for me sports is something you do for your own amusement... not for sitting in your couch with a beer and some crisps like some stereotype men do.

Hehe... I'm amazed if youre still reading... I've got 7 hours I need to spend... so thats why I'm letting out so much crap :D

From KL I'm taking a train to Jerantut, arriving at 2am, and there I will try to fall asleep in the train station... and next morning take a boat or car to the jungle. Finally I get to use the trekking shoes I borrowed from Nete :D There are alot of different treks from there, some for half an hour others for 9 days. I think there might be river rafting and jungle-fishing... so that will be exiting!

I wanted to put some pictures of KL in this blogger, but I forgot the cable for my camera.

******NOW WITH PICTURES

A temple in KL... nothing special... they were everywhere... just thought it looked nice!

This will be the last post in awhile I guess, because there is probably no internet in the jungle ^^

Ok... my time is up... now I will go get some insect repellent and some noodles!

Bye bye, don't forget to leave a comment!
