Perhentian Kecil!
Hey hey!
I've had a very lazy day today... Came back from Perhentian Islands yesterday with alot of good memories in my bag.
After spending a night in Jerantut David and I took the jungletrain to Wakaf Bahru. It took 9 very hot hours with bugs flying in the window constantly. It was nice to be able to see the jungle, but after 3 days of only jungle I wanted rather to read my book.
From Wakaf Bahru we took a cab to Kota Bahru... we went to the night marked and got some food. We stayed at the KB backpackers lodge, wich was fine, and only 8RM per person.
The next day we got a cab for the pier in Kota Besut, and got a boat to Perhentian Kecil.
We wanted to stay at long beach, because its the place with the best "babes" and the cheapest bungalows.
It was a paradise... I was speachless for the first couple of hours... postcard beautiful beach and alot of beautiful sunbathing girls!

We had some nice days with diving, I dived with Arnout from the trekking as my buddy. The whole trekking group met up and we had alot of partying at night at the palm tree cafe 2. My diving was the first day in "D. Lagoon" and second day in Temple of the sea and Sugar wreck. Temple of the sea was a cone formed rock/mountain in the middle of the sea with lots of triggerfish, clownfish, bamboo sharks and other animals... beautiful dive. The Sugar wreck was very bad vissibility (viz) but it was an amazing 70 meters long wreck with some swimthroughs and alot of lionfish and snappers... and alot of sleeping bamboo sharks.

The famous bottle!

I kinda miss the island now, but I'll soon be on another island(Ko Lipe) so I just have to be patient.

Our bungalow is somewhere up in the trees there.
Today in Kota Bahru David and I went for a walk... David wanted to take a picture of some muslim girls sitting in a circle. We started talking to them and ended up spending 1/2 an hour with them. They were preparing a presentation in english about some questions they had asked the tourists. I talked about the Muhammed Carricatures with them, and they wanted me to write my opinion down.... I did... but it was very hard for me... there is so much stupidity involved in that case so all I jotted down was some american-like bullshit (like... we all have to be friends and stuff)... But they liked it, so that was fine.
Now I'm gonna grab something to eat... its 20.05 and I only had 1 meal today. (chinese food is greasy!)
I hope you're all doing well at home and all the bullshit you normally write in the end of a letter ;)
