From the jungle to the jungle to the jungle!

Ok!

A long time since last update... I know... I'm sorry!
There has been alot of experinces to write about... but no time... (sounds crazy I know)

Well... I really enjoyed my time with Anders in Laos! We went on a 2 days motorbike trip in southern Laos (Pakse) where we saw alot of waterfalls... really pretty ones!
We also went to Sip ha don, but that wasn't so exciting.

Then I went to Bangkok to meet up with Bee again, and we went nightclubbing, sushi eating, movie watching, getting massage and alot more. All this we did together with her american friend James and a Japanese guy, Dee, I had met at the trainstation in Bangkok.

Anders came to Bangkok after a couple of days and we went ice skating, bowling and nightclubbing again! :)

Now I am in Kota Kinabalu in Borneo where I am waiting for my permission to go diving in Sipadan.
Yesterday when I arrived in the airport a really cool guy named Vincent came up to me and said he had a cheap guesthouse with dorm rooms... so... 3 danish couples joined in... so now we are 7 danish people in the same guesthouse... weeeiirrdd... hehe
Vincents car was stuck in the mud... sooo... we had alot of problems with getting it out, and he had to call a friend with a 4WD to get it out.
Anyway... I really like it here, its so social and Vincent has arranged my diving for me, so everything is good! :)

PICTURES FROM LAOS... WAAUUUWW!

Here are some pictures... most of them are from Bee because I'm soo f***ing lazy and she's so f***ing good at compressing the picture and this internet is so f***ing slow! ...

Plain of jars... don't know why I look so silly... ?

(The plain of jars are kinda like stonehenge... nobody knows why they are there)

A temple in Luang Praban

We ended up in a small village at a crossroad, we had to stay there overnight. I just startet on some Lao Lao we bought earlier from a farmer. That became a crazy night.

Anders and I waiting... And waiting... no bus...

A picture from the plain of jars... Walk on the white side of the stones to prevent stepping on mines.

Anders is fueling the bike up before our adventure!

OK... this took 2 hours... I've had enough... don't worry I will put all the pics on CD's and upload 'em at a later time.

Get your motors running...

We rented motorbikes yesterday and tried to ride through the national park, when we had ridden 1,5 hour through the jungle we came to a village called Nam Ha. There we stopped for some noodles and some Leo. When i tried to start my motorbike again it wouldn't start, so... we tried alot of things and then finally agreed that Anders should drive back and get help. I waited there for an hour and then 3 guys came by on motorbikes... they had some tools so we could get the ignition out and clean it. I speeded through the jungle on the way back to Anders... and met him with 2 guys from the shop on the normal road 10 mins from Luang Namtha.
Then we decided to follow the normail road to the chinese boarder Boten. We got there and stayed at a guesthouse.
Today there were problems again... Anders' engine just stopped while he was driving... and we thought it might be the ignition again.... we discussed the possibility of one of us going back to get help... but then we tried to check the gas... DOH! My motorbike still had some left, so Anders drove back to the town on my motorbike and got some gas (I'd bang him). Now we are back at Luang Namtha and wanna do 1 more trip to Muang Sing.

Laos! part 2

OK!

I've had 10 great days with Anders and Bee, and today we parted with Bee.
We've gone from Luang Praban -> Phonsavan -> Nam Noen -> Muang Vieng Thong -> Nong Khiaw -> Udomxai -> Luang Nam Tha.

In Luang Praban we went around in the town and saw the night market and the temples. We also went to Pak Ou cave with a 2 hour boatride.
We tried to rent motorbikes but found out that it was impossible because there had been too many tourist accidents.
Then we went with bus to Phonsavan to see the Plain of Jars which is some fields with alot of giant stonejars that is of unknown origin.
The guesthouse we stayed in had alot of war junk... like machineguns, helmets, bazookas, grenades and mines... we had a fun night drinking there with a japanese girl and a korean guy... ^^
Then we went to Nam Noen... It was a little village with not alot to do... so we got some Laos beer and some Lao Lao... and ended up very, very.... not sober.
The reason why we ended up there is that there was no car coming by... so we had to stay there over night.
The next day we jumped on a car going to Muang Vien Thong where we saw the hot spring... and got some Laobeers again.
Then to Nong Khiaw, which is a little town by the river and with nice walks to the caves that were used as shelter during the indochina war.
Next day to Udomxai where we went to karaoke bar and watched football (Anders' idea, england-jamaica).
The next day we split up with Bee, and Anders and I went to Luang Nam Tha where I'm writing from now.
We just arranged some motorbikes, so... the next four days we're going to ride around the national park of Nam Ha.
We pay 4 dollars pr day... so thats pretty cheap :)
After 4 days in the jungle we will probably try to get towards Luang Praban again... because Anders is what I call a football idiot :D
Nah... It'll be fun to drink some beers and watch some whining men run around on a field and kick a plasticball :D
Well... I think we're gonna grab some beers and get some massage :)

Bye!
